The Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom has finally installed Justice Julia Ssebutinde as the new Chancellor of Muteesa Royal University, months after her nomination to the position in October last year.
Justice Ssebutinde previously presided over the trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylorat the International Criminal Court. She is a 1997 graduate of Makerere University.

Until her installation, Kabaka Ronald Muwemba Mutebi had been the chancellor of the Masaka-based institution since its inception in 2011.
