After protracted battle with police who are denying him access to Makerere to fundraise for lecturers’ salary arrears, the presidential hopeful Dr Kizza Besigye has asked all well wishers to move online and continue making their contributions.
Besigye at 11:23am tweeted that he is being denied access to Makerere University and he is unable to physically deliver his contribution.
“Am being blocked fm delivering my contribution of Guernsey Cow & UShs 3m. Will find a way!! Meantime, let’s open online channels 4 pledges,” Besigye resolved.

Currently, there is still heavy deployment at campus, with mambas, pink water canons all over.
