News reaching the hive confirm that Lydia Kusasira, a second year student at Bishop Stuart University has passed on after being involved in an accident last evening as she was knocked down by a car at 11pm in the night.
Kusasira was rushed to a nearby hospital but passed on just minutes after she was admitted. This follows another death of a MUST student who also passed on in a fatal accident on Sunday.
The deceased has been undertaking a bachelors degree program in Public Administration at the Mbarara based institution. The university held a requiem mass today at 11am in the university main hall to pay last respects to the body of the deceased. More details about the burial will be communicated soon.
