Evelyn Namatovu Kironde, a commercial model, business lady and finalist of Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (BESBM) at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has become the second runner up at Miss International Beauty Pageant 2019 that was held in Tokyo, Japan.
More record breaking news indicate that Namatovu also won the Miss International Special Best in Swim Suit Award after competing with other remarkably beautiful ladies from allover the world. Namatovu was the only representative selected from the pearl of Africa since 2009.
While speaking to Campus Bee in October, Namatovu assured Ugandans that she will come back with something, and yes she has not disappointed the country.
“I feel so lucky and I thank God and all the judges that zeroed down to me. I have mixed emotions about it, a while a go I was feeling a bit anxious but now, I am ready for the crown and I am sure, I will bring it back.” Namatovu promised.
The Miss International Beauty pageant is one of the oldest beauty contests in the world. It happens every year in Tokyo, Japan. Unlike other pageants, it focuses on business, tourism, peace and international relations.
