Information just reaching the hive indicates that a one Linnet Ainomugisha, a first year student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, fainted on receiving her last semester’s results this morning and was rushed to hospital.
This comes hours after Mbarara University released student’s results, a month after the Christmas holiday break, which also doubled as a long anticipation for semester one results to most of the students.
Her close relatives suspect that the cause of her condition is attributed to her poor performance in her end of first semester results. They also add that on checking her phone’s browsing history minutes after she fainted, they found details about the AIMS (Academic Information Management System) students’ portal website.
This marks the very first set of results she received since it’s her first year and has only attempted one semester so far, before becoming a senior student at the university. What we are yet to find out is how she actually performed, which led to her condition.
The previous semester’s exam results at MUST are typically released a week before the next semester kicks off and they are accessed online. Second semester is commencing on Monday 27th January, 2020, one day from now.
We’ll keep you posted as more updates come through.
