Juma Wasswa Balunywa has been appointed the 27th guild minister for internal affairs and students welfare at MUBS.
The internet’s sensational, who failed to secure nomination to run for guild presidency, has finally landed himself a comeback in the political sphere.
Balunywa, son to former MUBS principal Prof. Waswa Balunywa, has been rewarded a ministry for his contribution in Amanya Moses’ victory during the 27th MUBS guild race.
Having failed to secure nomination, Balunywa later endorsed Amanya Moses, ushering in a dramatic turn of events, thus enabling the National Resistance Movement (NRM) secure a win at the Nakawa based institution.
Amanya defeated NUP’s candidate Chopre Ofoyrwoth, all thanks to the endorsement from Balunywa and MC Enricho.
Other cabinet members include Nabwire Rose who has been appointed as vice president, Edgar Watson as prime minister, matovu Solomon as minister for ICT among others.
Amanya Moses succeeds Democratic Party’s Wasswa Christopher who has been serving as the 26th guild president.
