National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Mukamawenka Edwinnie is the new guild president of Kabale University.
Edwinnie garnered 1011 votes to become the winner of the Saturday polls and the 9th guild president of Kabale University.
Jonathan Reid emerged as first runner up with 676 votes, Buhungiro Andrew Tomson came third with 367 votes.
Mukamawenka thanked her voters for their trust and support and promised to lead the university to greatness.
