The management of Kampala International University (KIU) led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs, Dr. Sophia Kazibwe, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Innovations, Consultancy and Extensions (RICE), Assoc. Prof. Chukwuemeka Diji have signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Bosaso-Garowe (UoBG), based in Somalia.
The rationale behind this MoU has been the mutual desire by these two universities to leverage all the possible ways in which they can develop and carry out collaborative activities in joint research, student and staff exchange, joint international research and educational conferences among others.
The team from UOBG was represented by the Director of UoBG, Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohamoud and the Principal Consultant of UoBG Mr. Tumwebaze Alican Auf.
