Kampala University emerged champions in the Inter- university Ramadan competition held at Islamic Call University College.
Kampala University outdid other rivals such as Cavendish University, Islamic Call University College, IUIU main and female campus, Kampala International University, Makerere University, Kibuli and Kabale Teacher’s college.
Professor Badru Kateregga, the vice chancellor Kampala University told the participants that the Quran is Islam’s greatest miracle.
“The holy Quran is Islam’s greatest miracle, filled with laws, yet its not a law book, filled with knowledge, a guide and manual to mankind,” Prof Badru said.
The Ramadan competition was organized by Mohammed VI foundation of Africa. Both Universities and Secondary schools participated in the event with the finals for secondary schools scheduled for Wednesday April 25th, 2022.
