“When I was elected Makerere Guild President & Kaweesi Chairman of Private Students Association, we agreed to resist strikes,” the former State House social media guru said in a tweet before adding; “No strike during our tenure of office. Kaweesi and I agreed to engage Makerere University administration and government on students’ concerns.”
Uganda Police Spokesman, AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi was this morning shot dead as he headed to Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono campus for the varsity’s career day.
AIGP Kaweesi was expected as the main guest speaker of the on going Career Day that was organised by the UCU Career office for the finalist students. The UCU Career day is a two days event that started yesterday and was supposed to end today (Friday) with a career inspiration from the late Kaweesi.
