Kawempe Republic: Former Makerere Guild President Appointed Minister of Health, See full Cabinet Here

At the beginning of 2018, a group of young people protested over high levels of unemployment, declared that Kawempe, a Kampala suburb, would break away from Uganda and become an independent republic if these problems are not addressed.

Well, it looks like this republic is finally coming to life following the  new appointments made on a directive from the President’s office, Kawempe Republic. Among the appointed leaders include Roy Ssembogga, the 82^nd Guild President of Makerere University who has been appointed as the Minister of Health.

Kamugo Bashir on the other hand has been appointed as Minister of  Education who also doubles as the  area councilor of Makerere University muluka 2. Kamugo is the former culture Minister Lumumba hall, Chief fresher Lumumba hall 2013/14, graduate with a Bachelor’s of social sciences and he is currently pursuing a Masters in public administration and management at Makerere University.
