Ms. Kagoya Asiinah Mahoro, aged 22 years and a fresh Information Technology (IT) graduate of Kampala International University (KIU) main campus in Kampala has come out to declare her intentions for the seat of the Woman Member of Parliament, Bugiri district where she hails from.

She was the student MP for her faculty and former health minister at the institution between 2018 and 2019. Also at her tender age of 18 in her period of senior six vacation, she was elected as youth councilor in Bugiri municipality and later on turned out to be the deputy speaker of the district local council in 2016.

Kagoya says her main efforts will be put in education because even herself, she’s been a victim of the poor schools in the region. She hopes to also empower the youths as a conduit for rapid economic and social growth and improve the general livelihood of her people in the Municipality. She urges all youths who can take up positions, to compete for the big political offices as this is the time for the youths.
