KIU: How to Get a Bursary for the August 2024 Intake

Kampala International University (KIU) has availed bursary opportunities for the August 2024 intake.

This follows the recent release of admission lists and letters for the students who applied for the intake. The offers available include;

1. Payment of the total bursary amount for one’s programme.
2. 50% for programmes (1-3 years).
3. 60% for programmes (4 years and above).
4. 80% for in-service programmes.

The requirements for applying for the bursary include;

• Photocopy of one’s KIU admission letter.
• Recommendation from District LC5, LC3 or Mayor.
• Photocopy of academic documents (S4 and above) including a bank slip of half payment to the Bursary office at any of the KIU campuses.
• Attach a passport photo.

After all the above is done successfully, wait for a confirmation of the award letter from the bursary office.

The awarding of bursary is based on first come first served. Submission of the above mentioned documents should be done by the student in-person.
