Kampala International University (KIU) has continued to explore its heights as it was ranked as the best private University that exports Education services to outside countries in Africa and World wide. This was revealed by KIU’s Vice Chancellor Prof Mouhamad Mpezamihingo in a press conference held on Friday 14th February at the main Campus in Kansanga.
He explained that KIU was ranked as the best Education exporter basing on its services it offers to students from outside countries in terms of research and hands on skills.
Prof Mpezamihingo also disclosed that very soon KIU will partner with the Ministry of Health to launch a community social responsibility program where they will train adolescents as volunteers to prevent the use of drugs and spread of Sexually transmitted diseases among the youth.
As January was ending, Webometrics which is global organisation that ranks higher academic institutions world wide, placed KIU in the 4th position and as the best private University in Uganda.
