Kwepena is back for it’s 5th edition slated to go down on 15th December 2019 at Legends, Lugogo which is undoubtedly this year’s hangout of the year. Kwepena allows us; the young and hip as well as the older generation to travel back in time and re-live old memories while celebrating traditional African games.
For those who have attended the previous editions of Kwepena, you know how it goes down, thousands of people come together and play African games such as kwepena, duulu, sonko, buladda, omweso, jump rope, tag of war, sack race, blind race, three legged race, a challenge course, matatu, ludo, kyokolo, “Ji Luyi” and many others.
There is literally a game for everyone, both young and old, male or female, and it does not stop there, with some of the dopest DJs and Performers playing at the event will surely keep you dancing all day long as you play away, meet new friends, and eat some muchomo.
Kwepena tickets go for just 10k for adults and 5k for kids. December is a month of enjoyments, and this is one you cannot miss.
Kwepena is organized by Cheza, an organisation that adds value and innovation to traditional African games and it is proudly powered by Campus Bee, Legends Rugby Grounds, Galaxy fm, AppAbout and KQ Hub Africa.
