Yesterday, we published a story about a one Okot Andrew who happens be a clerk at HASO Stores Kiwatule. Okot on Sunday morning murdered his ex-girlfriend Natoolo Fahima, a banker with Tropical Bank of Africa and the deceased’s body was discovered on Wednesday at Okot’s house in Namugongo.
Okot who has been on the run, was yesterday arrested at the Uganda -Kenya border as he tried to escape to Nairobi after realising police was badly hunting for him.
Upon arrest, Okot was roughed up by the police flying squad and undressed.
According to the Kampala metropolitan police, Okot is currently being detained at Kiira Road Police station as he awaits being arraigned before court.
