One month into the semester, Kyambogo University will commence the medical registration of new students today, Monday, 2nd September at the Medical Centre of the University.
Medical registration is one of the many requirements and processes that freshers are supposed to go through before they are fully confirmed as students of Kyambogo University. Others include Hall Registration, Registration at the Faculty, Registration at the Library, and later Central Registration which is the final step. Short of these, freshers will not be allowed to sit their end of semester examinations.
According to the Guild Information Minister of Kyambogo University, Kabodha Saidi, the requirements for medical registration include 3 passport sized photographs, a photocopy of the admission letter, and a photocopy of the pay slip to confirm payment of medical fees. Furthermore, the registration shall be done in phases according to one’s faculty of designation.
Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Special Needs will register on Monday, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences on Tuesday, School of Management and Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, Faculty of Vocational Studies and the Faculty of Science on Thursday, Faculty of Education on Friday and finally, the students studying the Weekend programme will register on Saturday. Students from the Graduate school are free to register on any day between Monday and Friday.
The Guild Information Minister has also encouraged Freshers to enroll and make timely payments.
