Long serving Kyambogo College School head teacher, Annie Tumwesigye Makaaru has died. Ms Tumwesigye worked yesterday up to 7pm.
BREAKING NEWS: The Headmistress Kyambogo college Mrs AnnieTumwesigye Makaaru has just passed on.
It isn’t reported that Ms Mwesigye became a little unconscious around 9pm prompting her son Junior to call an ambulance. “They tried to do some first aid as they rushed her to Metroplex hospital in Nalya Estates. She passed on as they had just reached the hospital,” one of the sources revealed.
Ms Tumwesigye had served as both a teacher and head teacher in most of the western schools like Kyebambe Girls School in Fort Portal, Bweranyangi Girls School and Kashaka Girls School before she was posted to Kyambogo College School.
“She never suspended me from school every time she caught me in a bad act, all she used to do was to advise me and let me stay in school, I thought u would live to see me be the woman you always wanted me to be, ” Brenda one of her former student from Kashaka Girls School said. Burial arrangements in Sheema are on going and we shall keep you posted.
