Henry Mutebe, a Ugandan and a Kyambogo university graduate has been elected into the Norwegian university parliament and he happens to be the first and only international Ugandan student to hold such a position.
Henry who is currently a second year student at Oslo and Akersus University College of Applied sciences (HIOA) pursuing a master’s degree in multicultural and international education graduated from Kyambogo university with a first class degree in Development studies and was then retained to start teaching at the age of 22.
In his remarks after reaching the mark Henry said “I am very shocked, because I did not expect this.”
Henry who also happens to an advocate or women ,girl child education says he wants to break new grounds and allow international students participate fully in all university activities.
“It’s not that they feel excluded but they just don’t feel included,” he said
