When students from the Banda based University couldn’t wait for their graduation which was slated for December 19-21. Excited students were shocked when the University council communuicated that the graduation ceremony has been postponed till next year.
According to Lawrence Madete, the University’s spokesman, the university is soon calling for endowment of requirements of this year’s graduation ceremony such as the graduation booklets.
As Thousands of students still wait, the procurement officer said it would be hard to beat the December 19 date since the university has not called for bids.
Sources at the institution say that Kyambogo’s graduation ceremony date is still unknown. It is likely to take place either at the end of January 2014 or the beginning of February 2014.
