Kyambogo University elections have been postponed indefinitely after students lined up in the hot sun for many hours.
There was chaos and a standstill after the newly introduced E-Voting system broke down. Most students turned unruly and demanded for a transparent voting system. “How can the e-voting system break down and yet they had a lot of time to organize for these elections,” Otuk a student.
According to a letter released by the acting Dean of students MS. Mildred Tibananuka the new steps to be taken will be communicated after further consultations with the various stakeholders.
