Kyambogo Hints on Release Date for Admission Appeals

The administration of Kyambogo University is soon concluding the process for admission appeals, through which prospective students who missed out on initial admissions lists, out of error, will be rectified.

According to Kyambogo University, the lists are to be released next week approximated by end of Tuesday.

This will come a week after freshers’ orientation that has taken place from August 7 to August 12.

It is turning out to be a hot talk on the variation for the fees charged on change of course at Kyambogo as compared to Makerere University. Kyambogo is charging Shs.50,000 while Makerere is charging Shs.6000

A section of the public is seeking answers on the cause of the variation.

Meanwhile, deadline for change of course at Kyambogo is August 18, 2023 whereas that of Makerere is August 31, starting August 21.

The academic year 2023/2024 at the institution is set to officially kick off on August 14 for freshers and resumption of semester 2 on August 7, for 2022/2023 academic year, for continuing students.
