Former Kyambogo and Ndejje University lecturer, Eng. Peter Dhamuzungu has succumbed to pressure while traveling in a taxi yesterday Sunday July 15th. The deceased has been deeply mourned by the Kyambogo University Faculty of Engineering where is remembered as a wonderful mentor who was never selfish with his knowledge.
“Kyambogo university, Faculty of engineering, Department of civil and building engineering in particular shall truly miss you dear lecturer Eng.Dhamuzungu Peter. You were such a wonderful mentor to us during final year project, never selfish with your knowledge, you really loved to see students excel and do the right things. May your soul rest in peace.” One kyambogostudent mourns.
The fallen lecturer was also an official at Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers West Nile (UIPE) where he has been lecturing before he met his death. Dhamuzungu will be laid to rest today Monday July 16th in Igeyero village Luuka district, 2pm.
