Ahead of the institution’s 17th graduation ceremony, Kyambogo University bursar Kasirye Bukulu Stevens has urged all prospective graduands who completed their studies in the academic year 2020/2021 to verify their fees settlement by 15th July 2021.
In a statement dated 28th May 2021, Kasirye noted that graduands will be required to scan and send relevant documents confirming their admission, retakes, dead year as well as university sponsorship.
The statement further indicates that graduands will be required to pay graduation fees of UGX 100,000 through the students’ portal as well as all other unsettled fees through the same portal.
Kasirye also notified graduands that no one will be allowed to graduade or access their academic papers without fully settling their fees. Following a spike in COVID-19 cases in the country, Kasirye also told graduands that they do not have to be physically present to be verified as he urged them to use the online method.
The official dates for the university’s 17th graduation ceremony remain unknown amid complaints from graduands who badly want to secure their transcripts and hit the street in search for employment opportunities.
