Kyambogo University is giving a chance to university hopefuls who missed out on the initial admission list.
Through the Academic Registrar’s office, 18 diverse degree programmes have been re-advertised admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The application process has been streamlined for convenience, with prospective students able to access forms directly through the university’s online portal at https://apply.kyu.ac.ug.
The system requires a non-refundable application fee of 50,000 Ugandan shillings for local students, while international applicants face steeper charges that vary depending on their banking arrangements with the Academic Information Management System.
International students from countries outside Uganda face additional documentation requirements, including submission of photocopies of equated academic documents obtained through the Uganda National Examinations Board.
The university has set a firm deadline of July 15th for all applications, giving prospective students just over a week to complete their submissions after the July 7th announcement date.
For students who missed earlier admission cycles at other universities or those seeking specific programmes not widely available elsewhere, this represents a valuable opportunity.
