Kyambogo Releases Academic Calendar for Semester II 2024/2025 AY

Kyambogo University has announced its academic calendar for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

This, is following approval by the Senate at its 81st Meeting held on October 29, 2024.

According to a memo issued by Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Maria G.N. Musoke, both Bachelor of Architecture and all other programs will commence on January 18, 2025, with resident students reporting to campus.

Teaching and learning will begin on January 20th, running for 15 weeks until 6th May, 2025.

The examination period for both semesters is scheduled for May 7-21, 2025, followed by the end of semester on May 21. A six-week semester break will run from May 21 to July 9, 2025, during which examination marking will take place.

The calendar structure is identical for both Architecture students and other programs, with the only difference being that the second semester includes Industrial Training for non-Architecture programs during the break period.

The Senate has directed Faculty and School Deans to collaborate with Department Heads to ensure adequate preparations for teaching and learning.

The university also noted that College and School Practice will align with their specific calendars.
