Kyambogo University has invited a group of 12 students to appear before the Senate Examinations Committee.
The students in question are expected to argue their case on October 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Board Room.
The hearing is a critical part of ensuring compliance with university examination regulations. Students summoned include Gobola Sam, Atio Molly, Okello Geoffrey, and others.
Each student is required to collect their charge sheet and invitation letter from the Examinations Division (Block 2) before the hearing.
Failing to attend the meeting may lead to the committee making a decision in their absence, without further input from the student.
The invitation letter emphasizes the importance of this meeting, as it gives students the opportunity to respond to charges before any action is taken. This is part of the university’s broader effort to uphold academic integrity and ensure fairness in handling examination-related issues.
The students are encouraged to prepare adequately for the hearing, as this is their chance to provide explanations, appeal any decisions, or clarify misunderstandings regarding their academic records or examination conduct.
