The Academic Registrar’s office at Kyambogo University has pronounced itself on the day when successfully selected freshers can start picking their admission letters as the kick-off of 2023/2024 academic year nears.
Our reporter at the institution has established that the admission letters will be ready for picking starting Monday, 7th August.
The date mentioned comes two days after the official reporting of the new students who will go through a week-long orientation from August 7 to August 12, as they start their journey of higher education.
However, admission letters for students admitted for graduate programmes are ready according to the University administration.
Update on Appeals
Following the call of appeals from students who were not included on the provisional admission lists, Kyambogo is still sorting out the information and the appeals lists are expected to be released by the third week of August, a time when the first semester will be taking center stage.
Appeals happen in the event that students are misplaced on academic programmes on admission lists, and as well; those who miss out on the lists when they qualify for admission (considering cut-off points)
According to a circular that was issued a month ago, the Admissions Ceremony is set to take place on Friday 22nd September 2023
Continuing Students
Students at Kyambogo continuing their academics are set to start classes on August 7th together with their counterparts; freshers.
Teaching will run for 14 weeks as students will thereafter, sit their exams starting November 13th for two weeks.
