Students at the Banda based university are getting innovative by the day. The latest news on our desk indicate that Lucky Mwaka, a first year student at Kyambogo University is building a spy drone and robot. The student who is pursing an ordinary diploma in mechanical engineering showcased his work-in-progress on Friday at Fairway Hotel
.
“I looked at a fan and how it works pushing air. All I needed was simply a mortar and a circuit receiver. I also realised that if I put two propellers, it [mortar] can push air downwards and increase pressure below the propeller hence lifting it upwards,” he talked about how he got the background of making a spy drone.
