A Kyambogo university student was last week stabbed in Massi bar located in Banda. Albert Oluka, a student of bachelor of accounting and finance was stabbed in the stomach last Thursday night (Eid eve) at around midnight after he (and his friends) decided to got to the bar to celebrate the Uganda cranes win against Egypt.
This website understands Oluka got into a misunderstanding with unidentified revellers as he was in the bar having fun- which triggered a bitter argument and sparked a fight that got Oluka stabbed in the stomach.
“I saw some unidentified men dragging someone out of the bar while beating him up and undressing him which compelled me to go take a close look- only to realise it is my Oluka,” Egongo Michael the roommate to the victim narrated.
After making an alarm, Egongo and other students who were in the bar managed to scare off these criminals who took off with the victim’s clothes.
On realization that Oluka was in a pool of blood, the students jumped on a motorcycle with the victim and rushed him to Nsambya hospital. Due to Oluka’s critical condition, they were refereed to Mulago hospital where is he is currently undergoing treatment in the casualty section. We wish him a quick recovery!
