This time round a story developing from the students belonging to the faculty of education who are currently doing school practice Indicates that they are not satisfied with the way the university handled the issue this time round in that they claim to have not received any single penny from the university as a mode to facilitate them while in field.
“I wonder why they take ages to pay us these allowances yet we students pay them promptly” said Anguyo Abbey a student attached to the faculty of Education.
Currently the students are facing shortages in form of transport, some also stress that they where not availed with any documents, and it’s on such grounds that they intend to stage a massive peaceful demonstration early next semester.
“As students we do pay this money to the university from the time we join campus effectively and it’s our right to be refunded,” lamented Julius an education student.
