Kyambogo University will hold its awaited graduation ceremony early next month.
This was confirmed by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Eli Katunguka during a press conference held on November 2, 2023.
The 19th cohort to graduate will be conferred with degrees in a 3-day event from Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th December 2023.
On the same note, the VC urged all prospective graduands to check with Faculties/Schools to ensure that their academic records are in order and also clear with the office of the Bursar to ensure that their financial records are well captured.
Important to note is that the students must clear with all offices by 8th November, 2023.

A section of students is however dissatisfied with the university’s directive, citing system failure to sort out their academic faults.
You talk of deadlines when you failed to clear the students of BAF and BBA due to your failed systems. No one is giving the students any explanation except telling them to wait.

Also, during the press conference, Kyambogo announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) to improve sanitation by constructing communal, public toilets under the project “Implementation of water supply and sanitation infrastructure in the informal settlements of Kampala”
Prof. Katunguka stated that the objective of the project is to improve sanitation for 250,000 residents and improving access to affordable water supply to 400,000 people in Kampala’s informal settlement.
He added that four sites were identified at East End football pitch, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Special Needs and near the police post to construct state of the Art toilets. The designs indicate 9 stance toiles (with 2 for PWD) at each site on top of which is a restaurant.
