It was the opening of the Central Teaching Facility (CTF), a great standard building at Kyambogo University that erupted a hullabaloo of many University students dissing Kyambogo Students for using children’s ‘potties’ as their seats.
Well, the kerfuffle has been settled. Last week, all the ‘potty’ chairs were collected, piled on trucks and driven away to unknown destinations and replaced with blue student writing pad chairs. This saw many selfie lovers make use of their non-iPhone 11 pro phones snapping selfies here and there.
A lot of girls were heard saying that these new study chairs are much more comfortable and deserving than the former bucket chairs. However much these chairs are standard and new, it does not leave out the fact that their trays are already breaking off due to students resting their feet on them. We hope management will maintain these seats for the future.
