This semester has been a very tough one for the finalists of Kyambogo University. It has been the shortest semester there has ever been and yet there has been so much to learn and do.
Some finalists have already kick-started their research dissertation which adds a lot to the pressure already available.
However, most finalists belonging to the School of Management and Entrepreneurship have their final examinations beginning on Monday 28th March 2022 with uncertainty over their previous marks.
The fact that lecturers have started releasing the results of the last semester’s examinations has seen many of the finalists on tenterhooks.
Amidst all this pressure and stress, the Accounting and Finance students belonging to the School of Management and Entrepreneurship have just been informed that their papers of Advanced Financial Management, a course unit handled last semester, are missing.
All they have been told is that they don’t have results of that course unit because their papers went missing and one wonders what exactly happened to them.
The only hope being given to them is that investigations are being made thus they should keep calm.
Meanwhile, H.E Serge Tumwine, the Guild President pledged to put in place a central marking facility so that the cases of missing marks and results can be minimized.
It’s everyone’s prayer that the missing papers for these finalists are found and results released so that they can know the way forward.
For a finalist expecting to graduate, having a missing paper or results is a thorn in the flesh.
