Kyambogo University kicked off the new week with terrible news of the demise of one of the fresh students.
The deceased was identified as Namugembe Joan who was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics in her first year.
It is reported that Joan breathed her last on the Sunday morning of October 16 after losing the battle to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident that happened about 10 days prior.
Sources more familiar with the matter revealed that she had initially joined Kyambogo University in the Academic year 2021/2022 but couldn’t progress due to unsolvable challenges.
She retreated and had thus come back for another shot as a student at the Banda based institution until her mission was unfortunately cut short.
Joan will be laid to rest in her ancestral village, Butelega in Milana District.
