News coming in from the Banda-based Kyambogo University indicates that unknown people broke into the guild president and took off with guild property.
According to sources at university, the office was broken and items such as Laptop, office chairs, office stamp were all taken.
This has been revealed by the Guild President Mbazira Senior who said that the incident happened in the wee hours of Thursday, 10th February 2022.
‘’Just early this morning found our office door broken, files, stamp, laptop and chairs taken. This is total impunity,’’ he revealed.
The incident has been reported to Kyambogo police station on the case number SD22/10/02/2022 and investigations into the matter have commenced.
Kyambogo University is in preparation of the forth coming guild elections with stiff competition from the people power and the National Unity Platform (NUP) camps.
