Today, 6th April 2022 is the second day Kyambogo University’s 18th guild is undergoing an induction process that is supposed to prepare the new guild leaders for the offices and the roles they have been entrusted with.
The session that saw massive attendance of the new leaders at the CLB attracted many administrators who were present in order to introduce the leaders to the right procedures that will streamline their work.
Among the most important item on the agenda was writing a requisition letter where the University bursar Mr. Kasirye Bakulu claimed that many guild leaders fault on the format in which the requisition letter should be written.
He further said that many leaders fail to fill in the correct details even when forms are given to them. He also clarified on the order that should be followed in signing various requisitions.
Mr. Kasirye further cautioned the new guild leaders on budgeting and guided them on how best to budget for the guild funds.
Kyambogo University’s 18th Guild has already started executing its duties with Tumwine Serge as the top leader flanked by Mugisha Trust Nduwayo as his prime minister.
The students fraternity is in high hopes of getting better services from the FDC leaning leadership that took over from NUP’s Mbaziira John on 30th March.
