A team of students at Kyambogo university offering Bachelors of information systems have today launched their innovative course work management system which is accessible with this link provided www.coursework.tk.
The group of 5 students who include Wanume Peter, Mulindwa Raymond, Obwot Solomon, Bongomin Daniel and Muganzi Martins told campusbee that this innovation is meant to aid all campus students from any Ugandan university, where by a lecturer or tutor can post course work on the website and the students download and later upload the work back to the respective party to be marked by the lecturer.
Speaking to the chief Technology Officer of the group, Obwot Solomon told campusbee that a student will be able to open up a personal account which holds his profile and every other necessary requirement and also will hold your various marks in case the lecturer is done rewarding the assignment marks.
The group was motivated to develop such a system due the common insurgencies of students missing out on course works both individual and group work marks.
He further said, a student can get notifications about any updates from the system in case there is a new course work or even an ongoing on-line discussion.
Any student can post up a question to be helped by fellow students online. This group has sold the idea to the university officials who have assured to adopt using the system starting the next academic year .
In the long term these students expect to develop an app which will make it more efficient for the students to use.
