The second semester of academic year 2019/2020 of Kyambogo University started last week. When students reported back, they found new looks especially on the roads that are within the University.
During the holiday the University management embarked on the improvement of transport accessibility to ease transport for both students and staff within Kyambogo with an aim of focusing on infrastructure development for better service delivery.
New pass ways were constructed and others were improved some these includes the newly constructed road which joins the lower Kyambogo University adjacent to Kakumba Chapel to the new Library via peace park.
Kyambogo University also introduced a mobile application to enable students use AIMS (Academics Information Management System) so that they can access their academic information easily by simply downloading it from the play store and follow the procedures.
Students without smart phones or those with data constraints have also been catered for, they can still access their academic information by dialing *272*6# and follow the prompts.
