It is with heavy hearts that Kyambogo University has announced the passing of a student, Ayebazibwe Ronnie.
Ronnie was pursuing a Bachelor of Development Studies in Year 1, reportedly breathed his last from Mulago Hospital, leaving behind a profound sense of loss and sadness.
According to one eulogy, Ronnie’s journey with Kyambogo may have been brief, but his presence touched the lives of many within the university community. His dedication to his studies and his vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Born in Rwamukundi village, Mwanjari ward, Southern division in Kabale district, Ronnie will be laid to rest on the 30th of April 2024 in his hometown.
Kyambogo bid farewell to the beloved student, by extending “deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. May the Lord provide them with strength and comfort as they navigate this immense loss”.
Ronnie was also a former student of Kigezi High School, where his bright personality and enthusiasm endeared him to his peers and teachers alike.
