Kyambogo University has officially released the academic calendar for the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year for Bachelor of Architecture students and the First Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year for freshers and continuing students in other programmes.
In a notice issued by the Office of the Vice Chancellor following the university’s 87th Senate Meeting held on June 16, the university outlined key dates and academic activities stretching from August 2025 to January 2026.
Key Dates for Bachelor of Architecture Students (Semester II 2024/2025):
- August 9, 2025 – Resident students report
- August 11 – November 23, 2025 – Teaching and learning (15 weeks)
- November 24 – December 7, 2025 – Examination period (2 weeks)
- December 7, 2025 – End of semester
- December 8, 2025 – January 18, 2026 – Semester break and marking of exams
- December 10 – 12, 2025 – 21st Graduation Ceremony
Key Dates for Freshers and Other Programmes (Semester I 2025/2026):
- August 2, 2025 – Fresh resident students report
- August 4 – 10, 2025 – Orientation Week
- August 9, 2025 – Continuing resident students report
- August 11 – November 23, 2025 – Teaching and learning (15 weeks)
- October 3, 2025 – 24th Admissions Ceremony

The university also emphasized that college and school practice will be aligned with the school calendar. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Eli Katunguka-Rwakishaya, signed off the notice, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to ensuring academic continuity and readiness.
