Kyambogo University has released the provisional admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic year, confirming placement for successful applicants under various entry schemes and sponsorship categories.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Academic Registrar on July 5, 2025, the university announced that the lists include candidates admitted through the Diploma/Certificate Entry and Direct Entry schemes under both government and private sponsorship.
Students admitted under the Diploma/Certificate Entry – Government Sponsorship can now confirm their admission status, with the official list published on the university’s website. This scheme caters to applicants who already hold diplomas or certificates and qualified for state-funded placements.
The university has also released the Diploma/Certificate Entry – Private Sponsorship list, featuring candidates who applied for admission under the same qualifications but without government funding. These students will be responsible for covering their tuition and associated costs.
In addition, the Direct Entry – Private Sponsorship list is now available. This category includes students who completed their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) and were admitted based on their A-Level performance.
All lists are accessible via the university’s admissions portal at https://kyu.ac.ug/admission-lists.
Kyambogo University urges all applicants to review the lists and confirm their admission status. For further inquiries or clarifications, students are encouraged to visit the Office of the Academic Registrar, located at Block 2 behind the main administration building.
