At the continuation of the 66th meeting held on 22nd March 2022, Kyambogo University senate approved the academic calendar of the first semester of the next academic year (2021/2022) for the continuing students.
The calendar shows that the holiday is to last for about seven weeks beginning on 10th April up to 28th March when the resident students report.
The long holiday is due to the fact that some students are going to have internship, industrial training and teaching practice for six weeks.
Students are to begin with online learning for a month immediately after the beginning of the semester on 30th May which will be followed by face to face teaching and learning for six weeks.
Examinations are expected to begin on 8th August and end on 4th September when the semester will close.
The date of 18th graduation ceremony, a highly anticipated event, will be communicated.
The calendar was designed by the faculty deans and approved by the Senate.
