As much as it sounds too good to be true, Kyambogo University administration is finalising a service that will enable students to make free mobile calls to fellow students and lecturers within the campus premises.
The Banda based university marred by its dilapidated buildings recently upgraded its WiFi connection around campus and is now ready to roll out a service that will see students communicate regularly without having to load airtime on their mobile handsets.
How it’ll work
Just like the Viber Mobile Application, students will be required to download a Kyambogo Uni app dubbed Kyamtel that’s in the pipeline that will be activated once the student keys in their registration number.
