Kyambogo University student is reported to have mercilessly beat up a thief after a thuggery yesterday morning, 15th September.
The thief is a former Kyambogo University student who has on several occasions been accused of stealing personal property in form of phones in Ntinda and around Kyambogo.
Eye witnesses say that they saw a student running after a thief who had stolen his phone via TTE going on through the teachers road heading to Nanziri Hall of Residence.
It was after he nearly reached the Hall that he realized that he would not escape. This drove him to raise his hand in the air in total surrender.
The furious student who he had stolen from, overcome by rage and anger, roughly beat up the thief.
A scene sprouted, attracting much attention from all around Mandela hall, Nanziri Hall and people within the Estates as they gathered to see what was going on.
People enjoying the show were seen recording videos instead of intervening to stop the deadly battering.
It was until when the police intervened in the matter that the thief was saved, otherwise it would have been a compete catastrophe.
The thief was there after arrested and the noisy crowd watching on dispersed.
