The Kyambogo University administration has resounded a warning regarding examination malpractice, warning that the consequences shall be dire.
Notices alerting students about examination malpractice have been put on all notice boards communicating the fact that whoever is caught in any malpractice shall either have a dead year or be expelled from the University.
Earlier this year, some students were summoned to court over examination malpractice regarding the examinations that were done last semester.
However, this won’t be done anymore as students have been warned they will either have a dead year or be totally expelled.
Some of the students have been exempted from sitting the ongoing examinations over cases of examination malpractice.
However, the 18th Guild President Elect Serge Tumwine has written to the Senate appealing with sincere concern that the exempted students should be given a second chance as they will not cheat again.
He says, in his letter that students have already taken the warning seeing that the guilty ones were exempted from examinations.
Serge promised in his campaigns that his leadership is student based and therefore will handle any matter concerning the students.
The examinations began yesterday 14th March and are scheduled to have ended by 10th April 2022.
