As a way of preventing crime with in Kyambo University, the guild cabinet headed by Ian Kafuko has come up with a project dubbed Light up Kyambogo.

The project is aimed at installing lights in all dark sports and CCTV cameras in the entire University.
The Inspector General of Police, Kale Kayihura during the National crime preventer’s forum security week on Saturday promised to contribute all the necessary support to make sure this project is fully implemented.
He argued the guild together with his cabinet to speed up all their activities so that by the end of this year lights are in place.
