Kyambogo University Senate has today 18th August 2022 directed central marking of examinations to be effected starting with the forth coming examinations in a move to solve and wipe out the issue or delayed release of results that has lingered in the university for long.
It is well known how students have often complained about the delayed release of their results accompanied by missing marks after every set of examinations that is done.
Often times the students threaten to strike hence provoking the concerned authorities to act accordingly.
Good news to the students’ body and to everyone affected is that this issue will no longer be the cause of worry and anxiety as it is going to be history in Kyambogo University if strategic measures are implemented.
According to the Senate and University council, lecturers will always take four weeks of supervised marking after the examinations have been done and release the results within a month of the next semester.
This new system is to be implemented starting with the forth coming examinations that are scheduled to begin on the 5th of September 2022.
It is everyone’s prayer that this Central marking system is well implemented to yield extremely positive outcomes.
