An official communication has come out to clear the air about the circulating falsehood that Kyambogo University students were to have their exams online during this nationwide lockdown. All learning Institutions were closed earlier this month as a measure of curbing the spread of Covid-19 virus.
It has come to the attention of the University’s authorities that an untrue email detailing the online examinations details was running around the students network like bush fire.
The University has dismissed the information as half baked and trashed it with a tweet.
“We’re aware of the falsehood circulating online that we will have online exams. Please ignore it. We will keep you informed of any developments at the University,” the University tweeted.
Uncertainty still engulfs the Education sector with the crisis at hand. Institutions are yet to set resumption dates to complete the academic years for all learners at different levels.
