KYU Graduands Not To Worry About the Rains But Gravel, Pitch Drained and Goal Posts Uprooted

The Kyambogo University graduation always happens in December, a great month of rain. Graduands tend to worry much about the rains. In fact some go ahead to pray in churches, pleading with God not to spoil their graduation parties with rain. We are not sure whether that prayer will get answered in this 16th graduation.

All is set at the graduation grounds. Trenches have been dug in the University’s main football ground and heaps of gravel are seen being dumped in the pitch. The organizers have even gone ahead to uproot the goal posts in order to create a memorable day for the 16th Graduands.

We are not yet sure if these goals will be re-erected, the gravel and trenches worked upon after the functions because this might not go well with the sports lovers.

The East End football ground which works as Kyambogo University’s main football and rugby grounds is blossoming with drainage channels carrying water away. This is the same pitch that is officially recognized as the graduation ground for Kyambogo University. We shall keep buzzing around for more.
